Damian brings 20 years experience of managing international sales and marketing operations at board level in several High-Tech companies. In his early career he spent 15 years with Schlumberger in the UK and France, initially in development engineering and later in product marketing and sales. He has since worked with other blue chip firms both UK- and USA-based operating in the scientific and technical sectors. He holds a B.S. Honours degree in electronic engineering from Edinburgh University and a business qualification from INSEAD.
Mike is a Learning Scientist with a background in Electrical Engineering (Robotics), Computer Science (AI and Software Engineering), and Applied Cognitive Science (Education). He has worked as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft and several other companies; a faculty member at Harvard University, Dartmouth College, and the University of Texas; co-founder and CEO of an educational technology startup (Native Brain, Inc.); and a consultant to schools, non-profit organizations, the federal government, and corporations spanning a broad range of industries. Much of his research and consulting has involved practical applications of data science and its component technologies (computer science, statistics, machine learning, etc.) to generate actionable insights and solve practical problems. Representative projects include predictive modeling of human learning, design of adaptive learning systems, assessment design and validation, and data mining of large text corpora to discover actionable business insights in the financial services industry. Mike holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and a doctorate in Education from Harvard University.
Bill brings a broad background of experience to Enthought in operations and finance ranging from start-ups to public companies. He was a co-founder of an e-health company that developed innovative approaches for utilizing web-based technology to improve chronic disease management. Bill has served as a senior operating executive and CFO of two publicly-traded companies. Earlier in his career he held operations and finance roles with two of the nation’s leading healthcare delivery systems. He received an M.B.A. and M.H.S.A. from The University of Michigan, and a B.A. in economics from St. Lawrence University.
Jill is coordinating recruiting and special projects for the Austin office. She has her BBA from Emory University and her Masters in Healthcare Administration and Public Policy from University of Michigan. Prior to working at Enthought, she worked in healthcare management at University of Chicago Hospitals and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Jo is Enthought's Office Manager in Cambridge, UK. She graduated with a Joint Honours degree in Russian and Linguistics from the University of Durham, and lived in the US for 11 years, working as a Research Assistant at Harvard and an Assistant Editor at the University of Michigan. Since her family's return to the UK, her daughters have started school, and she is rejoicing in part-time work.
Courtenay has diverse industry experience across the energy, technology and retail sectors. Over the last decade she has led the marketing strategy and execution at companies ranging from successfully acquired startups to category leaders with Fortune 1000 customer bases, most recently with GridPoint, a provider of energy management solutions leveraging cloud computing and big data analytics. Courtenay has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jodi manages accounting and human resources at Enthought. She received her B.A. in political economy of industrial societies from U.C. Berkeley. Jodi then worked as a CPA with Deloitte and Touche and a Division Controller at Restoration Hardware. After her daughters were born, she transitioned to part-time work with small businesses and joined our team in 2005.
Leah Jones joined the staff at Enthought in 2001, and she handles many of the day to day tasks of office administration. If you call the office, she will probably answer the phone. Leah graduated with B.A. in biology and English from Baylor University.
Erick is Enthought’s graphic artist. Erick has worked as an artist and his multidisciplinary works (focusing on drawing and video) have been shown and sold both nationally and internationally. He has also pulled together curatorial projects (mostly focusing on video art) that have exhibited both in New York and Austin. Erick received a B.F.A. from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and an M.F.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He also attended the Skowhegan School of Sculpture and Painting in Skowhegan, Maine.
Namrata manages office administration for Enthought India. Prior to joining Enthought India, Namrata has worked at various positions in different banks like Deutsche Bank AG, HDFC Bank for more than 5 years. She holds a MBA degree from National Institute of Business Management, Chennai and Masters Degree of Commerce from Mumbai University.
Didrik Pinte brings us his broad experience in data management and software development. Prior to working with Enthought, Didrik ran his own company providing data management solutions in the environmental sector. He also worked as a research assistant during 4 years at Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium. His research there focused on the development of integrated water resource management applications with Python. Didrik holds a M.S. degree from UCL in Agricultural Engineering as well as a M.S degree from UCL in Management.
Prabhu Ramachandran has been a faculty member at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Bombay, since 2005. His research interests are primarily in particle methods and applied scientific computing. He has been active in the FOSS community for more than a decade. He co-founded the Chennai Linux User Group in 1998 and is the creator, and lead developer of Mayavi. He has contributed to the Python wrappers of the Visualization Toolkit. Prabhu has a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras. He is an active member of the SciPy community as well as a member the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and a nominated member of the Python Software Foundation.
Mark is a highly experienced business development executive for solutions in engineering, software and technology. Mark has an engineering degree from Northeastern University and heads Enthought’s business development in the energy sector.
