Machine Learning in Oil & Gas 2019

Machine Learning in Oil & Gas 2019

April 17-18, 2019  •  Houston, TX

In the wake of the low oil price environment, operators have had to discover new ways to improve operational efficiency, eliminate unplanned downtime, improve safety, and overall, reduce costs. Machine learning has made a significant impact on helping operating companies improve those metrics across the value chain. With increasingly large data sets in oil & gas, machine learning has gained global recognition as an opportunity to turn those large volumes of data into actionable insights.

Some companies are in the early stages of implementation, others are exploring how to get started, and others have established ongoing projects. At any stage, it is imperative that companies understand how they can maximize the value of machine learning applications in their operations and how they can embrace the future of machine learning.  The 4th annual Machine Learning in Oil and Gas Conference will explore these challenges. Leading professionals from upstream, midstream, and downstream companies will come together to exchange insights on the latest developments in machine learning. Case studies and interactive panel discussions will enable delegates to benchmark against industry best practice.

SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) 2019

SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) 2019

January 06-09, 2019  •  Half Moon Bay, CA

The Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) is an executive conference for senior executives from the semiconductor and emerging technology industries, hosted by SEMI, the global industry association serving the manufacturing supply chain for the electronics industry.

Over the past 30 years, the semiconductor industry has been transformed through cycles of disruptive new applications, sector consolidation, frenzied speculation and its resulting bubbles, and the rise of China. Today, previous leading-edge demand drivers like the PC, Internet, and mobility are being supplemented by AI and other autonomous thinking breakthroughs, engendering a completely connected world where silicon is more pervasive than ever before. We’re at the cusp, the dawn of a new age, where the fruits of the semiconductor industry’s inventions are becoming ubiquitous, even commonplace.

With the revolutionary potential of cognitive learning, natural language, autonomous vehicles, blockchain, crypto-currencies and other advanced technologies not yet entirely integrated or realized, the dawn has not fully broken. When it does, microelectronics and our world will be radically different. And we will have entered the Golden Age of the Semiconductor where new and emerging demand drivers call for new architectures, new logic and memory, and new forms of specialized technologies.
