Chris Farrow

Chris has more than 20 years experience creating software and experiences that transform how scientists leverage computing to advance their work. As an academic, Chris helped popularize experimental and computational techniques for investigating the structure of small molecules and nanoparticles, resulting in multiple publications and thousands of citations. At Enthought, Chris has led engagements with Enthought’s largest customers, from a pharma giant creating the next generation of DNA sequencing technology, to Japan’s leading manufacturing, chemical, and energy companies.

As Principal Consultant, Chris leverages his experience as a software developer, consultant, trainer, project leader and business head to counsel science-driven companies on how to deliver value, amplify capability, and increase engagement on their unique digital journeys.

Chris is based at Enthought’s headquarters, in Austin, Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Michigan State University and degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska. Chris enjoys keeping up with popular science and technology, and spends his free time with his family camping, hiking, and occasionally winning at Mario Kart.
