Steven Kern

Steven holds a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland.

Prior to joining Enthought, Steven spent 7 years as a biostatistician at the National Institutes of Health and 2 years at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) developing methods and tools for improving biostatistical analyses of hierarchical timeseries models, dose response studies, population pharmacokinetic models, and non-parametric survival methods. Additionally, Steven championed development of well-informed empirical power analyses and adaptive trial design.

Steven is an avid baker and works constantly at developing methods for estimating subject pharmacodynamic parameters from continuous patient measurements.
